L'AURA  DEE  Artist  Bio

Coming from a mixed background and having majored in textiles, art influences me. Self-taught, I work with hand-blown Glass, Semi-precious Stones Terracotta, Re-worked Vintage,  Brass, Wood, Surgical and  Brushed Steel,  Silver, 14 KT Gold-plating, Leather & other applications.

In an unfailing quest towards a Greener Planet, all my metals  are Nickel-free  and  Recycled. All  my  pieces  are  One-Of-a-Kind.
I don´t just exist, I celebrate!!!                                                       My jewelry pieces  are  a  reflection  of  such  a  celebration.

Having retailed in Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Mexico City, Mumbai & now in Toronto & other cities in Canada, Toronto is now my home. It's been a busy 5 years and my jewellery has been featured in leading Fashion Magazines…

L'AURA  DEE  Mission Statement

Art and Design in all its expressions influence me. Growing up, my Mum was my strongest influence. Her joie-de-vivre, laughter and style were as contagious as they were effortless. Art Nouveau, Noucentisme and Gaudí have shaped my design ideologies. European and Indian aesthetics, sensibilities and their use of rich, lustrous colours are reflected in the L'aura Dee Jewellery Collection.

Simple shapes combined with chunky asymmetry - The L'aura Dee line of accessories  tell a story incorporating Semi-precious stones with the unexpected. Hand –blown glass, wood, vintage Austrian Crystals and other  whimsies.

Each and every L'aura Dee piece of jewelry is designed and handcrafted by me, the artist, in my studio downtown. Come by for a consultation and celebrate life!
